Well Water: An Experiment in Poetry

Poetry on the delights and trials of life, death, grief, joy, and self-reflection.
Created by two Kansas poets, father and daugther, with a shared sensitivity and dark humor.
Well Water: An Experiment in Poetry is a collection of thoughts — sometimes rhyming and always random — from father and daughter, whose shared sensitivity and dark humor comment on the delights and trials of life, death, grief, joy, and self-reflection. With inspiration spanning four decades, the collection cycles through youthful observation, cynicism, and existential growth. From joking rhymes to solemn free verse, realism to abstraction, the authors draw on anything from everyday passing thoughts about the weather in Kansas to generational themes of failed relationships, familial roles, and self-identity.
